RE: MEXICAN INSURANCE
I will agree with Barry and Vanda on using San Xavier for your insurance needs.
I insured with them for a February trip in the Baja and had to cancel due to mechanical problems with my tow vehicle before entering Mexico.
After explaining circumstances they refunded my insurance withthe exception of about $25.00.

I purchased a plastic life size owl and set it next to the pin box and have had no problems
